The targeted role is that of a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL). The survey below analyzed the appropriateness of this new role in different healthcare settings.
Survey Determining How the New Role Relates to Nursing Practice
The article “The Role of the Clinical Nurse Leader” supports the new role of a CNL. This role is effective in producing better nursing practices. To begin with, CNLs can mentor and empower their nurses. According to the AACN, Clinical Nurse Leaders will get more training to deal with every healthcare problem. These professionals will embrace new nursing concepts and ideas. This approach will produce the best goals in every healthcare facility.
